Indian spinner Parvez Rasool drew ire of Indian fans as he opted to chew a gum instead of reciting the National Anthem before the start of the first T20 in Kanpur on 68th Republic Day. Rasool is India’s only Kashmiri cricketer who earned a recall to the Indian side for the T20 series after making his debut in 2014.
It was a great moment for Rasool as his hard work finally paid off. But he unnecessarily received ire of fans as he was spotted supposedly ‘standing in a casual manner’ and chewing gum. insulting the National Anthem
